FSM Steamboat trip for 2021-Additional info on how to direct deposit from your HVFCU account

Reference my previous note about the trip to Steamboat.  Our treasurer, Jim Rogowski, figured out how you can make a direct transfer from your Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union account to the FSM account at HVFCU. If you already sent a check or don’t have a HVFCU account, no worries.  However, if you do have a HVFCU account then give this a try, it’ll save us all time, stamps and paper :).
NOTE: You can only do this if you have a HVFCU account
  • Go to your account and click on Transfers
  • Select the blue text “Transfer to another Hudson Valley Credit Union Member”
  • Enter “Family” in the top field where it asked for Last Name
  • Select “Account”
  • Enter “89089” where it asks for Recipient’s Member Number
  • Enter “0201″ for Recipient’s Account ID
  • Click Save
  • Then follow instructions to select what account you want to pay from and the amount

Jim will see who and how much you deposited to the FSM account and will notify me. If you wish, you can also send me a note that you transferred money to the FSM account for this trip.

Thanks again, Kurt

Here is my previous note:

Hello everyone,

I know many of you have been asking about what trip I’ve planned for next year.  Given the pandemic situation I took more time to sort out options for our trip to ensure we go to good safe place with simple logistics and good cancellation terms.  I wanted to take the club to Europe next year, however, I feel that is too risky at this time.  I believe it is more feasible to stay in the U.S. and go to a well established resort that is known for great snow and we can get a direct flight with easy access to the mountain.

Therefore, I’ve chosen Steamboat as our destination.  I’ve arrange for a direct flight out of Newark and I booked at a place I actually stayed at last October and found it to be very nice, convenient, and smaller with a breakfast room that suites our club requirements (ie: gathering at breakfast and Apres Ski).

I’m apologizing ahead for a necessary quick turn around, but I need confirmation and deposits by May 10th, that is only 10 days from now.  Even if I don’t get your actual deposit of $100/person, I need to know you are sending it to me.  Please contact me at ksteub@yahoo.com or call 914-204-0832.   NOTE: most of this (about $75) is refundable until later this year. See the flyer with all the cancellation terms I negotiated.
