Hello all FSM members. As your new FSM President I want to share some updates on Family Ski Meisters executive team activities.
The ski program planning is still in process but coming along nicely. The FSM website is being updated and you can find more information about our trips here, https://www.familyskimeisters.com/ski-trips/. To expand opportunities to ski, we are looking for someone willing to organize an overnight trip in mid-March; please contact me if you are interested in helping out.
To sustain the club and keep its ability to offer a robust program, we need to grow the membership. Doing so requires raising the visibility of the club in the community. Ideas the executive team have generated include: participating in local community days, doing presentations about the club at local libraries, and handing out brochures. Anyone interested in helping organize these should please contact me.
The next program planning meeting will be July 11th. If you wish to participate, or just send feedback, please contact me. Please remember FSM is YOUR club and we need the help (even if just a little) from everyone to thrive. If you can find just one new family or member to join, that would be a great contribution to the viability of our club.
In the meantime we are organizing off season get togethers which are listed on the FSM website. We currently have 3 proposed events for you and your families to attend with other FSM members. Each event has a separate page to register if you plan to attend. By registering, others can see who is going and hopefully sign up themselves to enjoy the event together. Below is the list of events which are linked to the FSM website. Come out this summer and enjoy the fun.
- Brews with Views BeerFest on July 16th
- FSM at the Renegades on August 12th
- FSM at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival on August 25th
