Hi everyone,
Reference my previous note about our 2022 trip to Steamboat. For now, the airlines have not posted the air for the direct flight to Steamboat, therefore I do not have final pricing but I still expect it to be approximately $2,000 for Steamboat and there will be add’l pricing for the Utah extension. If you choose the Utah extension then the air pricing will be impacted since you’ll fly one way from NY to Steamboat and one-way back from Utah to NY, more to come on that.
If you want to reserve a spot I need your non-refundable deposit of $100/person by May 15th. The Inn at Steamboat is requesting the $100 non-refundable deposit to hold 21 rooms for us. I will have 42 spots for attendees. If you are concerned with losing the $100, then I recommend getting insurance for the trip and use $2,000 as your estimate. If you are interested in the Utah extension, please reconfirm and I’ll get you separate pricing for the entire trip to insure. Also, if you plan to use your IKON pass, deduct $370 dollars from $2,000 or use $1,630 as your net amount as an estimate for Insurance.
If mailing a check, send your $100 check, payable to Family Ski Meisters to me:
- Kurt Steubing
- 9 Geneva Drive
- Hopewell Junction, NY 12533
However, if you have a HVFCU account then give this a try, it’ll save us all time, stamps and paper :).
NOTE: You can only do this if you have a HVFCU account
- Go to your account and click on Transfers

Jim, our treasure, will see who and how much you deposited to the FSM account and will notify me. If you wish, you can also send me a note that you transferred money to the FSM account for this trip.
