Here is a quick update for our February 29 – March 7, 2020 trip to Telluride. I have about 20 of the 42 signed up so far with at least 8-10 non-members waiting to sign up after I open the signup to non-Members this Wednesday, May 8th.
If you are interested and have not already contacted me, then I recommend you get back to me at email@example.com or 914-204-0832 in the next three days to let me know you are sending me a check.
Also, I went to the NJ ski show today and learned more about insurance, I highly recommend you get it. During the winter the probability of flight delays and cancellations is fairly high. For example, on our Aspen trip, we were very close to having people not make connections and also not being able to get to Denver for our flight home. Insurance will cover those delays/flights should there be additional costs in flight arrangements and/or hotel expense. Not to mention medical insurance is definitely recommended for ski trips. The insurance brochure is attached and I’m recommending that everyone get the Deluxe Plan which is only $11 more than the Lite Plan. You need to let me know if you are getting the insurance or not.
The dates for the trip are from 2/29 – 3/7, 2020 and the trip includes air, hotel (w/ taxes), ski tickets (minus $430 if you don’t need tickets), and land transportation to and from Montrose airport to Telluride.
I need your down payment of $650/person by May 8th.
A reminder that Telluride is only under Epic’s $939 level pass. If you go to Telluride and buy the Epic pass to cover your skiing, Snow Tours will reduce your price by $430 to not include a 5-day ticket for that week. If you plan to use the pass for other ski travels, this could be well worth purchasing the pass. This is your decision.
